How-to Know When It's Time To Pivot (P.S. I did!)

Math has never been my strong suit, but the #ParetoPrinciple is a constant “temperature check” I use to grow my business. Well, it used to be.

In short: It shows me where to focus. But also shows me when to pivot. #knowyournumbers

The Pareto principle (also known as the 80/20 rule, the law of the vital few, or the principle of factor sparsity) states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes.

I love creating, developing, innovating and overall making shi(f)t happen. I’d literally spend days taking abstract ideas and creating tangible strategy. I love it so much that I got caught up doing it in my own business, here, with aspire business.

How to Do a Mid Year Review

As the year passes through the midpoint  now is a perfect time to review how you've been doing and what it takes to achieve or even exceed your goals for the year.

Prepare For Your Review

Get Away & Create Space! It doesn’t have to be far, but it needs to be away from your day to day and if possible your normal working spaces. You need to create the intent that a different type of work is being done. Personally, I like to go all out and plan a mini staycation, hotel and all.

Gather Your Materials. Make sure you have all your tools, a notebook/paper, your computer, pens, highlighters, sticky notes etc. Most importantly gather your information, all your previous goal/strategy planning work.

Create Your Agenda. Be as specific as possible with this outline, create time blocks and identify exactly what type of content is going where. Along with setting clear intent in space, this is the time for clear intent in action.
